1 Purpose and Scope of Application
1.1 Surge protector (hereinafter referred to as "protector") )Suitable for communication50/60HZ、380Vthe followingTT、IT、TN-S、TN-C、TN-C-SWait for the power supply system to protect the power grid from lightning strikes or surge overvoltage.
1.2 Normal working conditions of the protector
1.2.1 Altitude not exceeding2000m;
1.2.2 Surrounding air temperature: Normal range:-5 ~ +40℃
Scope of exhibition protection:-40 ~+85℃;
1.2.3 Relative humidity of the air; Under indoor temperature conditions30%~90%;
1.2.4 The inclination of the vertical plane shall not exceed5°;
1.2.5 Places without significant shaking and impact vibration;
1.2.6 In a medium without explosive hazards, and without gases and dust (including conductive dust) that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
2 Technical Parameter
3.1 Failure disengagement device
The module of the protector is equipped with a failure disengagement device. When the protector fails due to overheating or breakdown, the failure disengagement device can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and provide an indication signal. When the protector is normal, the label displays green, and when it fails and disengages, the label displays red.
3.2 Remote signaling contact
Protectors can be made into varieties with remote signaling contacts. The remote signaling contact is a normally open contact. If one or more modules of the protector fail, the contact will close and send out a fault message. Rated value of remote signaling contact:AC36V、1A.
4 Main structure and working principle
In a three-phase four wire system, three phase wires and one neutral wire are all connected to the grounding wire with protectors (see figure)1). Under normal circumstances, the protector is in a high resistance state. When there is a surge overvoltage in the power grid due to lightning strikes or other reasons, the protector will immediately conduct in nanoseconds, introducing the surge overvoltage into the ground and protecting the electrical equipment on the power grid. When the surge voltage passes through the protector and disappears, the protector will return to a high resistance state, so as not to affect the normal operation of the power grid. The electrical schematic diagram of the surge protector is shown in the figure2.
5 install
5.1 The protector adopts standard35mmTrack installation;
5.2 Protector adopts2.5~35mmThere are two wiring methods for connecting copper wires of square meters;
a) Connect the power switch to the protector, and then connect the protector to the load end. This method is used for load current100AThe following distribution boxes. The cross-sectional area of the wire should be selected according to the load current (see figure)3).
b) From the power switch connection to the protector, and also from the power switch connection to the load end. This method is suitable for load current100AThe above distribution box. The cross-sectional area of the wire connected to the protector is not affected by the load current, but the length must not be too long and the total length of the grounding wire must not exceed500mm(See figure)4)
5.3 The grounding wire should be used4 mmTwo color wires with an area of over 2 square meters;
5.4 In order to prevent the failure of surge protectors from affecting the normal operation of the power gridLThe wire protector should be connected in series with a fuse;
The appearance and installation dimensions of the protector are shown in the figure
5 Adjustment, use, and maintenance
6.1 The protector does not need to be adjusted after installation as required;
6.2 As long as the protector is installed properly, it can automatically protect the power grid;
6.3 Regularly check whether the module label is red during operation, and observe whether the indicator light of the fuse is on, and replace the faulty component in a timely manner.
