The TC-200 COD rapid detection instrument is specifically developed for industrial pollution source control emissions and rapid detection of various types of wastewater. The instrument is based on the catalytic rapid method and uses a monochromatic cold light source to measure the color change of colored solutions. Data processing is carried out using microcontroller technology. Composed of a dedicated digestion device and a dedicated colorimeter, it has functions such as automatic temperature control, timing, zeroing, linear regression, curve storage, and data printing.

The TC-200 COD rapid detection instrument can use open tube reflux heating digestion or sealed digestion methods. The TC-200 COD rapid detector uses a dedicated catalyst and oxidant. After adding the dedicated oxidant and catalyst to the water sample, it is heated and digested. The Cr6+in the oxidant is partially reduced to Cr3+, and the reduced Cr3+content is converted to the actual concentration of COD (cr) in the water sample through colorimetric measurement and regression calculation. The design performance of the product meets the requirements of the national environmental protection industry standard "HJ/T399-2007 Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand in Water Quality - Rapid Digestion spectrophotometric method". It can be widely applied to the detection of wastewater from various industries (industrial wastewater, urban sewage, domestic sewage, and surface water in rivers and lakes).
