Product details
TC-YD dust concentration transmitter/dust removal leak detector
1、 Product Overview:
The TC-YD series dust concentration transmitter measures the electrostatic induction of dust particles passing through a fixed probe. Dust particles and probes induce static charges, which are amplified by the probe and transmitted to the monitoring and control system. The size of static charge is proportional to the flow rate of dust particles. The high-tech electronic circuit of this system converts this part of the charge into a control signal output, activates the dust over limit emission alarm, and is used to continuously record the total amount or concentration of dust particles. The TC-YD (Type I) device provides the world's new AC coupling technology. This is a modern, precise and stable monitoring technology, particularly suitable for continuous emission recording and data accumulation. The working principle of this monitoring system is to use the charge induction generated by the flow of dust particles around the probe to confirm the online emission amount (mg/sec) or emission concentration (mg/m3) of dust particles. Under relatively stable combustion conditions (i.e. at the same emission point, there is no significant change in flow rate, temperature, pressure, humidity, and particulate properties of smoke particles, with a variation of less than ± 90%), this system can also be used for online monitoring of emission concentration (unit=mg/M3) after direct calibration.
2、 Scope of use:
The TC-YD series dust concentration transmitter is widely used in various industrial applications, including steelmaking, power generation, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, building materials processing, coal mining and mining, cement manufacturing and packaging industries. Typical applications include detecting damaged filter bags in bag filters, recovering powdered materials, monitoring the total amount of product transportation, or monitoring the concentration of smoke and dust emissions from boilers of various sizes and fuels.
3、 Instrument features
The TC-YD series dust concentration transmitter has four major features:
1. Adopting advanced practical technology - patented improved AC coupling technology, it has high sensitivity and good linearity for dust detection. Dust contamination of the probe does not affect the measurement sensitivity and is maintenance free and cleaning free.
2. Standard two-wire 4-20mA current output, strong anti-interference ability, easy long-distance signal transmission, no special requirements for signal transmission wires, linear relationship between output current and dust concentration, convenient for subsequent PLC data processing.
3. The installation and use are completely consistent with the two-wire pressure transmitter, and on-site engineering and technical personnel can use it correctly without any special training. The installation is convenient and the operation is reliable.
4. The integrated transmitter output 4-20mA current in the junction box is electrically isolated from the dust sensing probe to achieve safe signal transmission.

5、 Instrument installation
1. The sensor is best installed on a vertical pipeline, at a distance of more than 5 times the diameter of the valve or elbow. When sampling in a horizontal pipeline, it should not be installed at the bottom. For a gas dust removal system that operates in parallel with multiple enclosures, a hole (with a diameter of 32mm) should be opened in the pipeline before entering the clean gas main pipe at the outlet of the tested dust removal enclosure. The base interface end of the fixed sensor should be vertically welded to the top of the horizontal pipeline with a longer straight pipe section.
2. The sensor junction box is rainproof, and the signal cable is directly connected to the wiring terminal inside the box through the threading hole on the junction box. Then, the sealing rubber ring is pressed tightly. The external cable should be fixed nearby to prevent wind and rain from swinging back and forth, which may cause mechanical damage to the transmission wire.
3. The length of the sensor probe is supplied by the instrument manufacturer according to the user's needs for measuring the pipe diameter.
