1、 Product Introduction

The TCG-FX wind direction sensor adopts low inertia wind vane and precision potentiometer, with high sensitivity and accuracy. The precision signal processing unit can output various signals according to user needs.

2、 Working principle

The converter of the wind direction sensor consists of a code wheel and an optoelectronic component. When the wind vane rotates with the change of wind direction, it drives the code wheel to rotate in the gap of the photoelectric component through the shaft. The generated photoelectric signal corresponds to the Gray code output of the wind direction at that time.

The transducer of the sensor adopts a precision conductive plastic potentiometer, which generates a variable resistance signal output at the active end of the potentiometer.

6、 Installation instructions

Ensure that the installation bracket is parallel to the ground;

As shown in the figure, use M3 screws and nuts to pass through the four mounting holes on the sensor. Fix the sensor on the mounting bracket;

The housing of the wind direction sensor has a white north marking point, please align it with the north during installation;

Connect the aviation plug connector to the sensor's aviation socket through the reserved M23 route hole;

Please avoid disassembling the sensor during installation
