1、 Scope of application:

The textile horizontal burning rate tester is suitable for various fabrics and products, and the burning performance of horizontal fabrics is measured by igniting the bottom edge.

Under specified conditions, ignite the center of the bottom edge of the horizontally placed sample. After a certain ignition time, measure the flame spread distance and flame spread time of the sample and calculate the combustion rate.

The textile horizontal burning rate tester complies with the FZ/T01028-2016 "Determination of horizontal burning rate of textile combustion performance" test standard.

3、 Technical parameters:

1. Combustion chamber: The dimensions are 385mm in length, 204mm in width, and 360mm in height, made of stainless steel material.

The front of the box is equipped with a high-temperature resistant glass observation door. There are 10 ventilation holes with a diameter of 19mm at the bottom of the box. A tray is placed at the bottom of the box to collect molten droplets, which is placed between two rows of ventilation holes without affecting the ventilation of the ventilation holes.

There are ventilation slots around the top of the box. There are two small doors on each side of the box, one for taking and placing sample holders, and the other for passing through the fuel pipe. There is a horizontal test stand inside the box.

2. Sample clamp: composed of two U-shaped metal plates with a thickness of 9mm, a length of 360mm, and a width of 100mm, with an inner frame size of 330mm * 50mm.

The upper clamp of the test clip has three marking lines, namely the first marking line, the second marking line, and the third marking line, which are 38mm, 138mm, and 292mm away from the bottom edge of the sample clip, respectively.

3. Sample holder: Made of stainless steel material, it can support and fix the sample clamp, making it horizontally placed and easy to push, pull, and place the sample clamp.

4. Igniter:

4.1 The inner diameter of the pipe mouth is 9.5mm.

4.2 Flame height: 38mm ± 2mm.

4.3 Adopt high-voltage electronic ignition.

4.4 Installation position: The center of the igniter nozzle is 19mm away from the test surface of the sample.

4.5 Gas: Industrial propane. The purchaser shall provide their own.

5. Control section:

5.1 Adopt relay+time relay control.

5.2 Equipped with flame regulating valve.

5.3 Ignition timing: 0~99.99 seconds can be set arbitrarily.

5.4 Burning timer: 0~99.99 seconds.

5.5 Timing accuracy: 0.1s.

5.6 It has a start and stop switch for the combustion timer.

5.7 The top is equipped with a smoke exhaust fan, which is in the closed state during the test, and the fan is started to exhaust smoke after the test is completed.
