The 8650 AirLINE Ex is a modular electrical automation system that controls complex processes in hazardous areas (Zone 1/21). The protection level of electronic modules and valves is "intrinsically safe" (Ex-i), allowing for their replacement during operation. In conjunction with its partner Siemens modules, B ü rkert provides electronic, analog, and digital I/O capabilities for application in Region 0. The complete system will be shipped with a data set attached to the SD card.

- Developed in collaboration with Siemens
- Through PROFIBUS ® DP is used to achieve electronic connectivity through Siemens SIMATIC ET 200 iSP ™ Module implementation of I/O function
