Performance and Features
The upper roller of the two roll plate rolling machine is a rigid metal roller, and the lower roller is an elastic roller wrapped in high-strength polyurethane material, which can be adjusted vertically. When the lower roller rotates, the upper roller and the fed sheet are pressed into the elasticity of the lower roller under pressure, causing the lower roller to undergo elastic deformation. But due to the constant volume of elasticity, pressure is transmitted to all four sides, generating a strong, evenly distributed, and continuous back pressure that forces the sheet metal to continuously adhere to the rigid roller, with the aim of rolling it into a cylindrical shape as it rotates. The depth of the upper roller pressing into the lower roller, which is the deformation of the elastic layer, is the main process parameter that determines the bending radius formed. According to experimental research, the larger the pressing amount, the smaller the bending radius of the sheet metal. However, when the pressing amount reaches a certain value, the bending radius tends to stabilize and is almost independent of the pressing amount. This is an important feature of the double roll plate rolling machine process. The double roll plate rolling machine is mainly designed for rolling metal plates with a width of less than 200mm and a thickness of less than 3.5mm. It can generally be equipped with automatic feeding and discharging systems, with high automation and large output. Widely used for rapid mass production of thin-walled pipes, ventilation ducts, water heater pipes, filters, automotive exhaust pipes, gas (liquid) storage tanks, and more.
