The Type I concentrator is a new generation centralized meter reading device developed based on the ARM core, in accordance with the requirements of the State Grid Corporation of China's construction of a power user electricity information collection system, combined with years of design, development, and on-site operation experience in the power industry. The downstream channel of the concentrator adopts RS485 and power line carrier (or low-power wireless) communication methods to exchange data with the collector or energy meter, and complete functions such as data storage and processing; The upstream channel adopts GPRS (CDMA or fiber optic optional) and Ethernet to exchange data with the main station management system, mainly suitable for the construction of automatic meter reading systems for low-voltage residential users.

Meter reading capacity: The maximum load of RS485 interface shall not be less than 64 energy meters for data collection, and the maximum capacity of carrier meter reading shall not be less than 1500 energy meters
● Communication sampling function: active power accuracy level 1 or 0.5s level, reactive power accuracy level 2 (used as a reference for assessment)
On site maintenance function: Parameter settings and other maintenance work can be carried out through RS485 communication interface, RS232 communication interface or infrared communication interface, and electric energy data can also be read on site
● Data collection function: It can classify and collect energy data from electric energy meters, including total and various rate energy data, voltage and current instantaneous data, maximum demand data, etc. Data that has not been collected within the specified time can be automatically supplemented
Data management function: According to the settings of the main station, each energy meter can store 62 frozen energy data at the end of each day (midnight the next day), 12 frozen energy data at the end of each month (midnight the 1st day of each month), 12 frozen meter reading days, 24 hourly energy data of 10 key users for 10 days, as well as 256 important event and 256 general event records
Monitoring function: It can record the operation status of the electric energy meter. When there are parameter changes, clock deviations, or faults in the electric energy meter, it generates events and records the occurrence time and abnormal data
● Support remote or local upgrade function: remotely upgrade programs through message and FTP methods, and support breakpoint resume function; Local program upgrade can be performed through USB flash drive or RS232
● Automatic maintenance function with communication parameters for electric energy meters: It can automatically detect changes in each electric energy meter on the RS485 channel and carrier channel, update measurement point parameters, and report to the main station
● Support local communication module interchange function: Support various carrier modules that meet interchange requirements, such as Echelon from the United States, Dingxin from Qingdao, Neusoft from Qingdao, and other carrier solutions
● Support remote communication module exchange function: The hardware interface adopts the State Grid standard specifications and supports plug and play of State Grid remote communication modules
