The Type II concentrator is a new generation of collection equipment designed based on the requirements of the State Grid Corporation of China's construction of a power user electricity information collection system, combined with years of design, development, and on-site operation experience in the power industry. The concentrator uses RS485 for downstream communication to collect energy information from multiple energy meters, and GPRS (CDMA, Ethernet, fiber optic optional) for upstream communication to complete data exchange with the main station management system. It is suitable for the construction of automatic meter reading systems for low-voltage residential users.
● Upward channel: wired communication supports Ethernet and fiber optic communication; Wireless communication supports infrared communication, GPRS communication, CDMA and other communication methods
● Downward channel: Supports 3-channel RS485 meter reading function
Meter reading capacity: Supports data collection from 192 electric energy meters
● Remote signaling function: 1-channel remote signaling, the remote signaling signal is a passive contact, which can monitor real-time changes in state variables such as the opening of the meter box
Real time voltage monitoring function: It has monitoring functions such as statistical voltage qualification rate, voltage imbalance, and generating voltage curves
● Data collection function: It can classify and collect energy data from energy meters, including total and various rate energy data, voltage and current instantaneous data, maximum demand data, etc
Data management function: It can store 62 days of frozen (midnight the next day) energy data from the energy meter, and 12 months of frozen (midnight the 1st day of each month) energy data
High success rate of meter reading: Using RS485 communication for meter reading, the success rate of meter reading can reach 100%
● Energy meter monitoring function: It can record the operation status of the energy meter. When faults such as clock out of tolerance, energy flying away, and changes in energy meter parameters occur, abnormal events can be generated and actively reported to the main station of the monitoring center
● Remote upgrade function: supports file transfer, Online remote upgrade through methods such as FTP and breakpoint continuation
● Communication module exchange function: The hardware interface adopts the unified standard of State Grid specifications, supports the exchange of State Grid communication modules, and can be plug and play
● Automatic supplementary reading function: The concentrator has an automatic supplementary reading function for electricity meters that have not read data within the specified time. When copying fails, generate an event record and report it to the main station
● Automatic maintenance function of concentrator energy meter parameters: When the energy meter on the RS485 bus of the concentrator changes, the concentrator automatically detects the change in the energy meter, updates the information parameters of the energy meter in the concentrator, and reports to the main station of the monitoring center
Data transmission security: Adopting the latest authentication and encryption measures of ESAM security chip from State Grid Corporation of China to ensure data transmission security
On site maintenance function: Parameter maintenance and reading of electrical energy data can be performed through RS485 or infrared communication
