CQY-150U-shaped inclined differential pressure gauge for mining
Main features and uses:
The CQY-150 U-shaped tilting differential pressure gauge (hereinafter referred to as the instrument) is a portable and adjustable tilting micro pressure measuring instrument. This instrument is equipped with a small tripod, which is convenient and fast to use in the field or underground mines. It has the characteristics of accurate measurement and simple structure. This instrument can be used in conjunction with pitot tubes to measure wind speed, wind resistance, and flow rate in coal mine ventilation networks, and can also be used for wind gauge calibration work.

Working Principle:
This instrument is based on the principle of fluid statics and uses the height difference formed between the two ends of the liquid column due to different pressures on the liquid surface of the medium to measure pressure. Its characteristic is that the glass measuring tube is inclined at a certain angle to the horizontal plane, so it can convert the small height difference of the liquid column into a scaled up glass measuring tube division value. The expression formula is as follows:
H = L×A
Where A=ρ× sin α
Where:
H: Pressure difference (mmH2O);
L: Measurement tube division value (mm);
ρ: Density of working medium (nominal specific gravity 0.81g/m3);
α: Tilt angle;
A: Tilt coefficient (this instrument has four types: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, and 0.7).
