1、 Product Overview:

The variable frequency series resonant withstand voltage device forms a series circuit (L) through an excitation transformer reactor, and then connects in parallel with the test sample (C) to form a resonant circuit. By adjusting the frequency of the test power supply, the circuit inductance L resonates with the test sample capacitance C to obtain high voltage.

The variable frequency series resonant withstand voltage device is suitable for various occasions that require AC withstand voltage. It can meet the withstand voltage requirements of high voltage and large capacity products as well as small capacity and high voltage.

Reference standard: GB50150DL/T 474.4-2006 DL/T 596-2005 DL/T849.6-2004.

The variable frequency series resonant withstand voltage device consists of a variable frequency control unit, excitation transformer, reactor, capacitive voltage divider, and compensation capacitor. By changing the series parallel connection of the reactor, it can be applied to different situations.

Widely used in industries such as power, railway electrification, steel, machinery, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, etc., it is suitable for AC withstand voltage testing of high voltage and large capacity capacitive specimens.

The frequency conversion series resonant withstand voltage device is also applied to the AC withstand voltage test of 10kV, 35kV, 110kV, 220kV, and 500kV polyethylene power cables; Suitable for AC withstand voltage test of 60kV, 220kV, 500kV GIS. Suitable for power frequency withstand voltage testing of large transformer generator sets.

2、 Main features:

1. The required power capacity is greatly reduced. Series resonant power supply utilizes resonant reactors and the capacitance of the test object to generate high voltage and high current through resonance. In the entire system, the power supply only needs to provide the active consumption part of the system, so the required power supply for the test is only 1/Q of the test capacity.

2. The weight and volume of the equipment have been greatly reduced. In the series resonant power supply, not only is the bulky high-power voltage regulating device and ordinary high-power power frequency test transformer eliminated, but the resonant excitation power supply only requires 1/Q of the test capacity, greatly reducing the system weight and volume, which is generally 1/10-1/30 of ordinary test devices.

3. Improve the waveform of the output voltage. A resonant power supply is a resonant filtering circuit that can improve the waveform distortion of the output voltage and obtain a good sine waveform, effectively preventing harmonic peaks from causing false breakdown of the test sample.

4. Prevent large short-circuit currents from burning the fault point. When the weak point of the insulation of the test sample is broken down in the series resonance state, the circuit immediately loses resonance and the circuit current rapidly drops to 1/Q of the normal test current. When conducting voltage withstand tests using parallel resonance or test transformer methods, the breakdown current immediately increases by several tens of times. Compared to the two, the short-circuit current and breakdown current differ by hundreds of times. So series resonance can effectively find the weak point of insulation without the hidden danger of large short-circuit current burning the fault point.

5. There will be no overvoltage recovery. When the sample breaks down, the high voltage disappears immediately due to the loss of resonance conditions, and the arc extinguishes immediately. The process of re establishing the recovery voltage is very long and easy to disconnect the power supply before reaching the flashover voltage again. This voltage recovery process is an intermittent oscillation process of energy accumulation, which is long and does not result in any recovery overvoltage.
