1、 Introduction:
A water purifier, also known as a water purifier or filter, is a small water treatment equipment that deeply purifies water quality according to its usage requirements. The water purifier usually refers to a small filter used for household use.
Water purifiers can be classified into many types based on different purification principles and processes. Among them, RO reverse osmosis technology has the highest filtration accuracy (with a filtration accuracy of 0.0001 microns). In addition to reverse osmosis technology, there are many other filtration techniques: nanofiltration (filtration accuracy between 0.001-0.0001 microns), ultrafiltration membrane (filtration accuracy between 0.1-0.01 microns), and fine filtration (filtration accuracy below 0.1 microns, such as ceramic filtration, PP cotton filtration, etc.).
The PP cotton in the water purifier can effectively filter out rust, sand, colloids, and all impurities with a diameter greater than 5 microns in the water. The granular activated carbon filter has super strong adsorption capacity and can effectively adsorb residual chlorine, odor, discoloration, pesticides, and other chemical agents in the water; Precision activated carbon filter can effectively remove bacteria, toxins, heavy metals, etc. from water.
2、 Working principle:
Level 1: Microfiltration membrane: Microfiltration membrane removes various visible substances/dust and impurities from tap water. These particulate matter come from pipeline aging, rust, secondary pollution of roof water tanks, and so on.
Second level: Compressed carbon: Compressed carbon removes chlorine and organic impurities, such as harmful insecticides. It can also absorb the odors, colors, and odors produced by organic compounds in water, which come from by-products of tap water disinfection.
Third level: Ultrafiltration membrane: Ultrafiltration membrane can remove bacteria, viruses, spores and other substances from water.
Level 4: Filter life indicator: The device is designed with a gear structure inside. As the water flows through, the gear rotates, causing one of the internal axes to move upward until the water outlet is blocked and the water flow cannot pass through. This means that the total amount of water passing through the water purifier is calculated based on the designed stroke to ensure safe water discharge.

Principle of Lead Removal
1. The KDF55 filter material in the water purifier can effectively remove heavy metals from water. KDF55 can remove 50% of zinc and copper from water. KDF55 uses the principle of electrochemistry to remove heavy metal lead from water.
The chemical equation is as follows: Zn+Pb2+=Zn2++Pb! After the metal lead is reduced and oxidized, it is discharged with sewage during the backwash of the water purifier.
2. RO reverse osmosis water purifier can effectively remove residual lead through filtration. The pore size of RO type is 0.0001 microns, and the diameter of lead ions is greater than 0.0001 microns, so it can be effectively filtered out. The filtered zinc and wastewater are discharged together.
