Cobalt is mainly used as a binder in the manufacture of hard alloys, and is also used in industries such as ceramics, glass, paint, pigments, enamel, and electroplating. Cobalt is more toxic to fish and aquatic animals than to warm blooded animals. The critical concentration of cobalt toxicity is 0.5mg/L, and when the cobalt concentration reaches 10mg/L, it can cause the death of crucian carp and silk fish.
To eliminate the tedious operation of preparing reagents and testing processes for users, and improve detection efficiency, theWater quality cobalt content detection reagentIt is easy and fast to operate, with low testing costs, and can meet the requirements of batch, rapid, and accurate determination of various water quality.
Water quality cobalt content detection reagentTechnical principle: Co forms an orange red ternary complex with PAN and non-ionic surface activity, and the depth of its solution color is proportional to the concentration of Co.

matters needing attention
1. If the content is higher than the reagent range, the measured value can only be used to estimate the dilution factor and cannot be used as a test result. After diluting the sample, retest;
2. The pH value of the water sample to be tested is 4-7, and the temperature of the water sample is 20-30 ℃;
3. More than 5 times the amount of Cu is present in the water sample2+、 Fe3+More than 10 times the amount of Cd2+、 Zn2+、 Pb2+、 Al3+、 Cr3+、 Cl-、 F-、 Mn2+More than 20 times the Cr content6+Will interfere with the measurement, Fe2+Direct interference testing, the water sample must not contain Fe2+;
4. After adding cobalt (II) reagent and cobalt (III) reagent, it is not allowed to shake up and down to avoid foam affecting the colorimetry;
5. The triangular positioning mark on the colorimetric tube should be aligned with the positioning mark on the instrument during zeroing and reading;
6. Store in a dry, cool place, out of reach of children. Do not store with food, medicine, etc., and do not put into fire.
