The XGD-19/32 combined steel strapping machine is a new and advanced pneumatic packaging tool, mainly used for strapping various specifications of pipes, profiles, ingots, plates, and other products in non-ferrous metal and steel enterprises weighing less than four tons. Operation, use and maintenance methods of pneumatic steel strapping machine

1: Precautions for use:

1. The baler can be hung horizontally or vertically on a rotatable and movable crossbeam through a balancer or heavy-duty spring, and can be positioned freely to provide a certain working space for the baler (note: the detachable type does not require a balancer or spring hanging device).

2. When using a packaging machine, combustible gases must never be used. The compressed air source must pass through an oil-water separator, pressure regulating valve, and oil mist device. It is best to use a 12mm outer tube and an 8mm inner tube to withstand a pressure of 0.9Mpa. The oil mist device should be filled with 22 # turbine oil and 60-100 # spindle oil.

3. The maximum working length of the trachea is 10 meters, and the ideal length is within 5 meters.

4. The normal working clearance under the pressure of the working friction wheel of the packaging machine is 0.1-0.3 millimeters.

5. Keep the various moving parts of the packaging machine lubricated.

2、 Equipment repair and maintenance: (If there is a malfunction, please refer to the following characteristics and analyze the cause to solve it)

1. Insufficient locking force.

A. Parts are worn or deformed and need to be replaced.

B. Foreign impurities entering the cylinder block hinder the movement of the piston on the surface of the cylinder block. The cylinder block should be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled for use.

C. The piston cannot rebound, and there is a leakage in the directional valve, causing the actual working air pressure entering the sealing cylinder to be low. It is necessary to replace the pointed plug O-ring.

2. Insufficient tightening force.

A. The surface mesh of the feeding roller is worn and needs to be replaced.

B. The gap between the feeding pressure wheel and the cushion wheel is unreasonable and should be adjusted.

C. The blades inside the pneumatic motor are worn and need to be replaced.

D. The directional valve is leaking, causing the actual working air pressure entering the air motor to be low. The seal should be replaced according to the inspection results.

3. Insufficient cutting force.

A. Blade wear.

B. Check if the work pressure is normal.

C. The force to cut off the steel strip comes from the blocking cylinder, refer to the phenomenon in "Fault".

D. Check the blocking operation.

4、 Gas path inspection:

A. The air pressure shall not be lower than 0.4Mpa.

B. Insufficient gas supply, check whether there is oil pollution blockage or leakage in the gas pipeline.

C. Regularly check the filter and pressure regulator, and drain the accumulated water in the oil-water separator regularly.

D. Check if the amount of oil dripped from the oil mist device is appropriate. If there is a lack of grease, an appropriate amount of No. 22 turbine oil can be directly injected into the interior.

Maintenance and upkeep of steel strapping machine

Due to the wear and tear of parts and the loosening of screws during the operation of the steel strapping machine, as well as the decrease in air source pressure, the steel strapping machine may experience malfunctions. Therefore, timely troubleshooting is necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the machine. There are several reasons for the malfunctions. If the maintenance and upkeep of the steel strapping machine are strengthened, it will greatly extend the service life of the machine.

1. Before each shift of use, an appropriate amount of lubricating oil must be injected into the pneumatic motor, cylinder block, and all transmission and rotating parts. In addition, the oil injector should be regularly and quantitatively filled with 22 # air wheel oil to maintain a fixed oil supply. When the pneumatic motor is working, the optimal oil drop rate from the injector is 40-60 drops/min.

2. When the compressed air does not reach 0.4-0.6Mpa, adjustments must be made. Otherwise, too low pressure will affect the quality of bundling, and too high pressure will cause the machine to wear out too quickly.

3. The oil injector and oil-water separator should be cleaned with kerosene every three months, and the accumulated water in the oil-water separator should be removed daily.

4. The gap between the friction wheel and the pad wheel should be between 0.5-0.7mm, otherwise it should be adjusted and the debris and dirt on the friction wheel should be removed in a timely manner.

5. Due to long-term wear and tear of parts, environmental pollution, and poor lubrication, faults may occur. Therefore, it is important to detect and promptly eliminate faults. The following inspections and repairs can be solved using universal tools. Mastering the following techniques will not cause downtime or loss of valuable time when shutting down the machine due to minor faults and seeking help from the manufacturer.
