5、 Structure and working principle

1Working principle

This tester consists of a high-voltage boost circuit (which can adjust the required test voltage output), a leakage current detection circuit (which can set the alarm current), and an indication instrument (which can directly read the output voltage and leakage current values)<Or breakdown alarm current value>)Composition, see figure2In the test, when the tested object reaches the specified time under the specified test voltage, the instrument automatically cuts off the output voltage. Once breakdown occurs, that is, the leakage current exceeds the set alarm current, and an audible and visual alarm will be issued.

6、 Usage and Operation

1Preparation before use

① Connect the power supply and place the "power" switch in the "on" position. At this point, the digital display for output voltage, leakage current, and time, as well as the indicator symbols for each "test unit", should light up.

② Rotate the "voltage adjustment" knob counterclockwise until all readings are zero, indicating that the instrument is in its initial state.

2Function key description and settings

① Alarm current setting

Select the alarm current range according to the required alarm current value, press and holdLeakage current test/Press the "preset" button to adjust the leakage current preset potentiometer. At the same time, observe that the displayed value in the leakage current display window reaches the desired alarm value. Stop adjusting the leakage current preset potentiometer and then release the "leakage current" button

Flow Testing/If the "preset" button is pressed, the leakage current setting is complete.

② Timed setting

Note: WhenIf the "timer" button is in the "off" position, the timer is set to "∞".

According to the required testing time, toggleWhen the value on the "timer" dial is reached and the displayed value in the test time window reaches the desired test time value, stop turning the timer preset dial to complete the timer setting.

③ Output voltage setting

clickPress the "Start" button and turn the "Voltage Adjustment" knob clockwise according to the required test voltage. At the same time, observe that the displayed value in the output voltage window reaches the desired voltage value. Stop turning the voltage adjustment knob and keep the "Voltage Adjustment" knob position unchanged. Press the "Reset" button to complete the test voltage setting.

Note: In the future testing process, if the test voltage is not changed, only press once for each testJust press the 'Start' button. If the test voltage needs to be changed, repeat the above steps, and the output voltage value will be directly read from the instrument's "voltage" display window.

3Operation steps

① When determining the output voltage indication of the instrument“0”In the "off" state of the test light, insert one end of the high-voltage test line (red) into the "AC high voltage" output terminal of the instrument, and connect the other end to the power input terminal or other live parts of the tested object. Insert one end of the other test grounding wire (black) into the grounding terminal of the instrument and lock it, and connect the other end to the grounding terminal of the tested object's shell (metal) or power input terminal (if the tested object is connected to the ground or ground wire, the instrument grounding terminal must be connected to it).

② Press the "Start" button, the "Test" indicator light will turn on, the voltage reading will be the current test voltage value, and the leakage current reading will be the current leakage current value on the tested object. If the tested object is a qualified product, there will be no sound of light alarm when the test time is up, and the instrument will automatically cut off the output voltage; If the tested object fails the test within the test time, the "alarm" light will turn on, the buzzer will sound an alarm, and the instrument will automatically cut off the output voltage. The "reset" button can be pressed to eliminate the alarm.

③ Perform a voltage withstand test using a wire controlled terminal (the "start" and "reset" buttons on the panel fail) and place the "timer" button in the "off" position.

a.When using wire control testing, insert one end of the black grounding wire into the instrument grounding terminal, clamp the grounding terminal of the tested object with the other end, insert the wire control plug of the rod into the instrument wire control socket, insert the high-voltage plug of the rod into the "high-voltage" output terminal, and then contact the pin of the test rod with the live part of the tested object. Press the button on the test rod to "start", and release this button to "reset".

7、 Common faults and troubleshooting methods
