Instrument Introduction

The economical iron ion/total iron analyzer is designed and developed according to the standard HJ/T345-2007 "Determination of Iron in Water Quality - Phenanthroline spectrophotometric method". The detection system uses imported optical components with stable and reliable performance. Adopting a 5-inch LCD display screen, the interface is simple and easy to understand, coupled with a simple three-step detection program, users can use it quickly and accurately.

Detection Principle

The YC-710S economical iron ion/total iron analyzer is designed and developed according to the standard HJ/T345-2007 "Determination of Iron in Water Quality - Phenanthroline spectrophotometric method". It adds reducing substances to convert all Fe3+in the water sample into Fe2+, which forms a stable orange red complex [Fe (Phen) 3] 2+with Phenanthroline. Then, the absorbance of zinc ions/total zinc is measured by spectrophotometry at a specific wavelength. After calculation by the instrument chip, the value of iron ions/total iron in water quality (mg/L) is directly displayed.
