Product Introduction

YM8 metal abrasive particle sensor is a real-time monitoring sensor for ferromagnetic and non ferromagnetic abrasive particles. It adopts advanced three coil electromagnetic induction principle and integrates high-sensitivity data sampling and processing units internally to achieve real-time monitoring of the wear and tear of large industrial equipment.

YM8 can capture ferromagnetic metal particles with a diameter greater than 40um and non ferromagnetic metal particles with a diameter greater than 150um, and complete abrasive particle detection and data output through 10 size distributions. YM8 also provides temperature estimation and flow rate estimation functions for wear.By continuously monitoring the generation of wear and tear debris, YM8 can alert users to the earliest equipment failures, allowing for lower cost maintenance measures compared to traditional schedules.

measuring principle

YM8 is equipped with two sets of high-performance reverse wound excitation coils and one set of high-performance induction coils. Both the excitation and induction coils operate in a resonant state. When metal abrasive particles pass through the pipeline, the magnetic flux changes of the excitation coil are received by the induction coil, and the real-time capture and reporting of the metal abrasive particle signal are completed through high-sensitivity sampling unit, bandpass filtering unit, phase and amplitude comparison unit, signal amplification unit, low-pass filtering unit, and signal extraction unit.

YM8 has achieved the detection capability for 40um iron particles (Fe) and 150um non-ferrous particles (NFe).

2. The shell is made of aluminum alloy material, with a hard oxidation treatment on the surface. It has a lightweight structure, excellent corrosion resistance and pressure resistance, and is less affected by external vibration during measurement, making it suitable for online monitoring requirements;
