I. Overview

1.Z2The series of small DC motors is a standard series of small DC motors specified in the JB1104-68 standard issued by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China.

2.Z2The series of small DC motors are divided into 11 frame sizes, each with two different iron core lengths. They are manufactured in three types: DC motors, DC generators, and DC voltage regulating generators, suitable for general normal working environments. Electric motors are used for general transmission, generators are used as general DC power sources, and voltage regulating generators are used for charging battery packs.

3.Excitation method: The electric motor is a parallel excitation or other excitation magnet with a small number of stable windings.

The generator is a compound excitation or other excitation magnet (rated voltage of 230 volts), and the voltage regulating generator is a parallel excitation magnet (without series winding).

The excitation magnetic voltage of the motor is made into two types: 110 volts or 220 volts.

The only type of motor with a rated voltage of 110 volts is the excitation voltage of 110 volts.

4.Z2The series of motors can be made into wet and hot zone (TH) DC motors with moisture-proof, anti mold, and anti salt spray properties for use in humid and hot areas according to usage requirements.

5.Model meaning: Z represents "straight" current, 2 represents the second national standardized design, and the number after the horizontal line represents the machine base number and the length of the iron core. For example, in Z2-11, the first 1 represents the first machine base, and the last 1 represents the short iron core, while in Z2-112, 11 represents the 11th machine base and 2 represents the long iron core.

2、 Structural type

1.DC generators or DC voltage regulating generators are only manufactured in a horizontal position with a base and feet.

2.DC motors can be made into the structural types shown in the table below.

3、 Z2 series electric motor

1.Electric motors can be driven using V-belts, spur gears, or flexible couplings to prevent axial thrust on the motor shaft.

2.The electric motor can operate normally in either forward or reverse rotation.

4、 Z2 series generators and voltage regulating generators

1.Z2The rotation direction of series generators and voltage regulating generators is clockwise when viewed from the commutator end, and can also be made into counterclockwise rotating generators or voltage regulating generators according to usage requirements.

2.Z2Series generators and voltage regulating generators can be made into generator sets that are compatible with Y series three-phase asynchronous motors according to ordering requirements.

3.The rated power of a voltage regulating generator is the power at the average voltage (135 volts for 110/160 volts and 270 volts for 220/320 volts). When the voltage is higher than the average voltage, its output power is not greater than the rated power, and when the voltage is lower than the average voltage, its output current is not greater than the rated current.

5、 Ordering Notice

When placing an order, it is necessary to specify the model and specific specifications of the motor (including excitation method, rotation direction, outlet box position, whether it has dual axis extension, structural type, etc.), such as Z2-62 13 kW 220V 1500 rpm separately excited motor, with a separately excited voltage of 220V, a horizontal base with feet, and a flange on the end cover.

The supply of accessories such as asynchronous motors and variable resistors, as well as spare parts such as brushes and brush holders, or those with special requirements (such as for use in humid tropical regions) and foreign language documentation, should be specified in the purchase contract.
