ZCQ [ZMD] - F fluoroplastic magnetic self-priming pump is a new product developed by our company in response to market demand. It is suitable for long-term transportation of any medium with any concentration in the temperature range of -20 ℃ -95 ℃, including acids, alkalis, oxidants, organic solvents, etc. The overcurrent components of the pump are made of fluoroplastic alloy, which has the advantages of high mechanical strength, strong corrosion resistance, anti-aging, and no toxin decomposition. Widely applicable to industries such as chemical, petroleum, smelting and pharmaceuticals, pesticides, paints, electroplating, papermaking, etc.
Design Features
① ZCQ [ZMD] - F fluoroplastic magnetic self-priming pump has the outstanding advantage of self-priming function, adopting an external circulation self-priming structure, strong self-priming ability, and short time. Unless the pump needs to be filled with liquid before the first start-up, it can achieve normal operation through self-priming after frequent start-ups.
② The pump has a novel structure and reliable performance. It adopts an external, self-adjusting mechanical seal, which is much more convenient to install and operate than non self suction pumps. The self-priming height can be selected within 1 to 3 meters according to user needs.

Installation and Connection

1. Prepare the concrete foundation according to the basic dimensions and embed the anchor bolts. Place the unit on the foundation, align the pump horizontally, and tighten the foundation bolts. The pump should be located as close as possible to the water tank.
2. The diameter of the inlet pipe of the pump shall not exceed the specified requirements, and the total length of the inlet pipe shall not exceed 5m. The shorter the pipe, the better, provided that the requirements are met. A filter screen must be installed at the bottom of the inlet pipe to prevent excessive particles or debris from entering the pump body and damaging the impeller or affecting the pump's operation. The filtration area should be greater than 3-4 times the cross-sectional area of the pipeline.
3. Valves must be installed in the outlet pipeline of the pump to regulate the flow rate, so that the pump can operate at the specified flow rate and prevent the pump from being unable to operate after exceeding the limit. The outlet pipe diameter shall not be less than the specified requirements, and the larger the outlet pipe diameter, the better if possible. The total length of the outlet pipe must be greater than 1.5 times the total length of the inlet pipe, and it is better to be longer if possible.
4. The weight of the inlet and outlet pipelines should not be supported on the inlet and outlet flanges of the pump, but should be fixed on their respective brackets. The various parts connected to the inlet and outlet pipelines must be tight and leak free, otherwise it will affect the self-priming function and the normal operation of the pump.

Usage and maintenance instructions:
1. Self suction magnetic pumps are strictly prohibited from conveying media containing solid particles or easily crystallized materials. Continuous operation is not allowed with the discharge outlet closed, and a small flow rate must be maintained.
2. When installing pipelines, fill the inlet pipe with liquid before connecting the outlet pipe.
3. After installation, connect the power supply and check whether the pump rotates flexibly by jogging, and whether the motor direction is consistent with the direction mark.
4. Open the outlet valve by about one-third to start the self-priming pump (i.e. open the valve to start), and then slowly adjust the outlet valve to prevent the pump from working properly.
5. During infusion, the flow rate, head, and self-priming height must be controlled within the specified range and cannot differ too much, otherwise it may cause suction and prevent the pump from working properly.
6. The self-priming pump is not allowed to produce suction phenomenon during operation. Once suction occurs, it must be drained and refilled with fluid before self-priming. Therefore, users must have devices or personnel to control the low liquid level to prevent the medium in the pool from being sucked out.
7. Self priming pumps cannot transport media that generate large amounts of bubbles, nor can they transport gas-liquid mixtures.
8. When transporting media that are prone to crystallization, if the pump is stopped for a period of time and not in use, the pump chamber must be flushed to prevent residual crystallization media and prevent damage when the pump is restarted after crystallization; When reusing, add the required liquid before self suction.
9. When transporting non crystalline media, if the pump is stopped for a long time before use, check whether the liquid in the pump body is sufficient before starting, and make up for it before self suction.
10. When the pump is used in an environment below the liquid level or as a substitute for a pipeline pump, air valves and buffer valves cannot be used. In this case, please remove the air valve and buffer valve.
11. Check valves shall not be installed in the pump outlet pipeline. If any, a vent hole shall be provided at the lower end of the check valve.
12. The self-priming height can be calculated using a simple formula: 3m self-priming in clear water/medium density=actual self-priming height.
