3、 Experimental steps:
1. The prepared sample should be wrinkle free;
2. Fill the tank with purified water at (21 ± 2) ℃;
3. Place the sample horizontally on the lower ring to avoid any air between the water surface and the lower surface of the sample;
4. Cover the upper surface of the sample with a dry filter paper larger than the test area, place the upper ring, and clamp it with a threaded device;
5. Inject water into the tube until it reaches the required water level above the surface of the sample;
6. Maintain the water pressure at (300 ± 10) seconds;
7. Check if there is water seepage through the sample on the filter paper and record the results;
4、 Evaluation of experimental results:
Check if there is water seepage through the sample on the filter paper and record the results. If any of the three samples fail the water seepage test.
