Main principles
When steaming medicine, steam is directly input into the pot through the bottom central air pipe for steaming, and an appropriate amount of steam is placed in the interlayer to keep the inner pot warm and reduce the backflow of water on the inner wall of the pot. If necessary, boil the return water dry. When cooking medicine, add water to the pot and steam from the central air pipe for boiling. The steam placed in the interlayer provides insulation.
