Product details

Instrument Introduction:

The spectral response of the human eye changes with the variation of light intensity. The human eye has two special spectral responses, which are defined based on the brightness of the light entering the eye. The first spectral response occurs in a typical daylight illumination environment (photopic), where the light intensity is above 0.1 Lux. The second spectral response occurs under low light conditions (scotopic), where the light intensity is between 0.0001-0.001 Lux. Light intensity less than 0.0001 Lux is difficult for the human eye to detect. The shift of the human eye from bright visual response to dark visual response is called Purkinje Shift. For flashlights used in the curing industry, this detector is an ideal testing tool.
The peak intensity of a flash is much higher than that of a continuous light source. The PMA2135 detector captures peak intensity and displays it on the PMA2100 every five seconds. In addition to peak intensity, PMA2135 is integrated and saved as a single pulse powder dosage. The peak radiation intensity is displayed in mW/cm2 or W/cm2. The full scale is specified by the customer at the time of ordering. The full dose scale is mJ/cm2 or J/cm2. The photodetector has an effective area of 0.474 square inches. The polytetrafluoroethylene hemispherical bright vision detector has excellent cosine response, which enables precise measurement of point or long light sources.
