Shanghai Guanghua Instrument Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Shanghai Guanghua Instrument Factory and China National Nuclear Corporation State owned 264th Factory) was founded in 1934. It is the earliest flow instrument factory in China and one of the earliest automation instrument manufacturing enterprises in the country. It specializes in producing various industrial automation instruments such as flow, differential pressure, pressure, and liquid level. The product is widely used for measuring the flow rate of liquids, gases, or vapors, as well as measuring parameters such as differential pressure, pressure, and liquid level. Some products have entered the international market. The LD series electromagnetic flowmeter (including pipeline and submersible) is the earliest product in Shanghai to pass environmental certification (No. 0001). Guanghua led the development of the professional standard for nuclear safety grade differential pressure/pressure transmitters (EJ/T1046-1997); Professional standard for electromagnetic flowmeter (JB/T9248) and national standards (GB/T18659-2002, GB/T18660-2002); Participated in the development of the military standard "Marine Electromagnetic Flow Meter". For over 80 years, Guanghua has always kept up with international advanced technology and stood at the forefront of domestic professional technology. It has successively launched and manufactured many types of China's first instruments and other products. In 1961, according to the decision of relevant central departments, Guanghua was assigned to the Ministry of Nuclear Industry and developed and produced a large number of flow, differential pressure/pressure, level and other specialized instruments, making important contributions to the early construction of China's nuclear industry. Entering a new era of military civilian conversion, Guanghua has independently developed the CEC series capacitive differential pressure/pressure transmitter in China, which has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award. During the transition of the nuclear industry to nuclear power construction, Guanghua was the first to participate in nuclear power construction. The successful development of the CEC (H) series nuclear safety grade transmitters broke the foreign monopoly and filled the domestic gap. The main indicators reached the advanced level of similar foreign products and received good reviews from nuclear power users. The products have been successfully applied in a series of major projects such as Qinshan Nuclear Power Phase I, II, and III, Pakistan Chashma Nuclear Power Station, Daya Bay, Ling'ao Nuclear Power Station, Tsinghua University High Temperature Gas Cooled Reactor, China Advanced Reactor, Fast Reactor, uranium mining, uranium separation project, and spent fuel reprocessing. Recently, I have undertaken the design, research and development, and manufacturing tasks of nuclear grade transmitters for the K2/K3 project in Pakistan. Guanghua products are also widely used in industrial automation system control fields such as power, chemical, steel, coal, petrochemical, water supply and drainage, papermaking, food, textile printing and dyeing, and flower fiber. At present, Guanghua mainly produces CEC series capacitive differential pressure/pressure transmitters, CEC (H) series nuclear safety grade transmitters, LD series electromagnetic flow meters, LC series elliptical gear flow meters, orifice plate throttling devices (including nuclear grade), UCA (H) series nuclear safety grade blowing devices, etc., all of which are at the advanced level in China. The CEC (H) series of nuclear safety grade capacitive differential pressure/pressure transmitters, independently developed and manufactured by Guanghua Company, passed the audit of the National Nuclear Safety Administration in October 2009 and successfully obtained the "Civil Nuclear Safety Equipment Design and Manufacturing License". In March 2015, the license was re examined and renewed, with a validity period of 5 years. The positioning and purpose of Guanghua Enterprise is to focus on the core and specialize in excellence.
